My Thrifty "Pagan" Space

My Husband and I are staying with my Grandma until I reenlist and we are ready to move to Georgia. We have been here since the end of November. Almost all of our belongings are packed up and stay packed away. Even though I dislike not having my stuff displayed, it will make it easier when its time to move. Today, I wanted to share some of my space with you.

This is my "Pagan" shelf.  If this was my home I would have my Celestial Hangings on the wall above.
On the top shelf is a butterfly tin(that I got for my previous apartments dumpster), The Celestial robe Santa and the silver coasters(from around my gma's home), a dragon globe (for free), and my candle holders(yard sale & thrift store).
On the middle shelf is basket of seashells(from my sister), my handfastening scarf(from my gma), the glass bowl with sand dollars( found around gma's home) and the candle(from the Priestess who performed my ceremony), my bouquet(from my ceremony ~friend Kendra made it), and miscellaneous driftwood(big piece from gma's garage and rest found by me at Lake Houston).
On the bottom shelf is my Pagan books(pictured below), 2 parrot feathers(from a friend of my sister), Scorch my Beanie Baby Dragon( from my gma), Hello Kitty mini tin(garage sale) with Herbs inside(from a Swap), green teacup(thrift store) with my polished stones(from a swap), my little snow leopard and penguin tots(from Sonic), Periwinkle(present from my daughters) with its Pagan Pride ribbon I made, a big plastic purple die(from a gumball machine), a little white stone mushroom(found at gma's), a glass jar with tealight candles(found at gma's).

Here are my astrology books.

Here are my Tarot and Palmistry books.

Here are my Dream books.

And my other "Pagan" books.
All my books either came from yard sales, thrift stores or BookMooch.

Here is a close-up of Periwinkle with his Pagan Pride ribbon.

Here are pictures of my Dream Journal.
Here are some sticks and driftwood I found while walking by the lake.
I hope you enjoyed the little insight into my Pagan Thriftiness and until next time Blessed Be, Brittany.

Weekend Finds at the Thrift Store

I hope everyone had a Blessed Weekend. Saturday was Billy's Birthday so we went to lunch at Red Lobster. After that we went by the library to drop off some books and pick up a book I had on hold; Flirt by Laurell K. Hamilton. We stayed home the rest of the day; then he went out that evening to chill with some friends and I stayed home with the kids and read my book.
Yesterday, we stopped at the H.A.A.M Store (local thrift store in Humble). I was looking for stuff for my daughers' Birthday Party that we are having in a month and of course browsing the books. Here is what I came home with:

Instant Horoscope Reader for $0.62, Tarot for Beginners for $0.92, Eighth Grade Bites (The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod) for $0.32, and for $0.49 some black fabric that will be used for the party.

In case you were wondering I'm throwing my daughters (who will be 7 and 5) An "Alice in Wonderland/ Mad Hatter Tea Party". The black fabric along with two hula hoops will be made into the rabbit hole; which they will crawl through.

For now and until next time Blessed Be, Brittany.

In the mail and other goodies

Ok I have been meaning to do this post all week but I kept forgetting to take pictures...

Last Week in the mail I got the following books: The Dreamer's Dictionary, Symbolism of the Celtic Cross, and The Laughing Corpse.

And last weekend I took my husband, Billy to pick out this guitar for his Birthday which is tomorrow.

My hubby brought me home a printer/scanner last week from a co-worker. Free of course. Ohhh and I picked up my kitten last weekend so with out further delay...

This is Nyx(Goddess of Night). She was born Midnight on New Years. (This is the only picture I have on her so far she is very fiesty)

This is her sister who I have to find a home for. My sister was suppose to take her but she can't.

See the little orange heart on her head....awwwww.

That's all I have to share at the moment I have to go get ready to pick up the kids. Blessed Be.
